This Halloween, me and my boyfriend (of over 4 years!) struggled as we usually do for a couples theme costume wondering what to wear for Halloween. We desided to go back to an older costume since we only show cases it at a party in Brooklyn but not for the masses. By the picture I'm sure you can quess what we were... Makeup test bunnys! A very creative, yet simple as you want costume that doesn't envolve a long process... As long as your sure what you want! I'll add more to this blog, post more picture's and explain at length how to not only to make your bunnys more scary but also do it on the cheap! Stay tuned!
Monday night after a trip to the city for Yoga I desided to go to one of my favorite spots to eat sushi called "Yummy Village". I was a little worried because the recession hasn't been kind to those who work in the customer service industry and money has been "tight" as they say. I ordered a Kani salad which is mainly crab meat with caviar in a light white mayo sauce for my appitizer. For my dinner I ordered a volcano roll, a califonia roll topped with crab meat, scallops, and shrimp in a light spicy sauce. Accompanied by a glass of water. Not only did my meal come out to the cheap price of sixteen dollars but the chef was in a genorus mood, gave away two appitizer specials (fried asperagus and two fried spicy tuna rolls) and the service was amazing! I love places that make me like a star and "Yummy Village" has never failed me. Oh yeah... They also have a happy hour two for one plum wine special! So when the new Melrose Place first aired I wasn't to hopeful of anything coming from the show other then the comedy that is Ashley Simpson's Bad acting who plays the now crazy scandalous Character Violet. But after watching the first five episode's it's clear to me that this show's revamp and new cast are a force to be reckoned with! The development of each character, the plots, and the wonderful snippets of Sidney's past have taken all the viewers for a spin. One such character is Lauren played by Stephanie Jacobsen! (Who has also been in Battlestar Galactica: Razor and Terminator The John Conner Chronicles)
For those that don't know Lauren is a aspiring doctor in college. As the series open's Lauren's parents break the sad new that they can no longer help her foot the bill for school and is a paycheck away from being kick out completely! As the season continues, she finds herself in the company of men willing to pay for arm candy, sex, or even just a sexy lady who makes one hell of a rent-a-date. Now, I know this is just a plot on a television show but the sad part is how close to real life this is for a lot of people right now. I've seen to many news article's about Young adults that move to big cities hoping there dream's will come true as long as they push hard enough, having to pack up and go back home because the economy is pushing back harder then it ever has before! It seems like nowadays having two job's isn't enough. And what's worse is most people are just stuck with no hope of reaching upward even if you have a degree. I to have been getting myself together to go back to school hoping that a ray of light will help guide me to greener pastures, and by that i mean More Money! Lauren isn't the only character who is having issues paying the bill's. On the show, most of the Melrose Place residents are working for people who have ego's and attitudes the size of Noah's ark, stealing, scrapping for cash in unsavory ways or just hoping someone will call them with a paying Gig. What's the message that Melrose Place is trying to get across? Maybe that by the time the people with money, the politician's, governments, and banks are ready to get off there butt's and help out with this struggling economy, they'll have a lot of people in there late twenties to late thirties who will be in desperate need of some Psychotherapy... or just a lot of upper's! Since MTV's commercial's started airing for there show "The Hills" everyone has awaited the arrival of new cast member Kristen and after the first two episodes of the new season I can see why! Hooking up with Audrina's unofficial ex-boyfriend Justin-Bobby, making friends with Heidi's enemy from last season (who I love!) Staci, and causing Jade's ugly side to show even more due to Brody and Kristen's past relastionship. Can't wait to see what's gonna happen next! But besides all the obvious drama Goodies that this show has offer there are actual friend ships being formed between Audrina and... Wait for it... Stephanie? When did these two become such good BFF? Hopefully this new found bond won't break Stephanie into a fourth girl to focus on because the world isn't ready for The Hills to be filled with the sound of Pratts!
I Love this Trailer!!!!! I know there are so many things I could be writing about but I'm so Excited about the New season of "The Hills"! It's actually what got me excited about staying home during the beginning of the week. I would make a great meal, Get out a bottle of wine and have a me night starting with "The Hills" Then ending with "Bad Girl's Club" Which I found the perfect mix of Drama. After watching both I'd always feel thankful for my life being so drama free but would also feel secretly scandalous like someone just told me a secret and were the only two who know! I Am sad about Lauren Conrad not being on this season but I'm Curious to see what Kristin Cavallari will bring! Plus Bartender Staci is joining the cast as well as the rest of the usual suspects.
So truth be told I haven't been inspired to write much... This summer has been so crazy. I have meet some amazing people due to my videos and blogs but I needed something new... And I found it. Every other Sunday at work, me and a friend would sit for an hour or more and talk. Others started to join in our discussions and then it came to me.... Why not turn this into a show? With that I started working very hard gathering topics, outreaching to anyone who was interested, and taking pictures all over nyc of the show mascot. After mondays Twitter Battle Chris Crocker made a video about an un-named person saying that he hate's people who have online names starting with "The in them" and proceeded to go on a rant about how they suck. Later that night I found this Video helping me to understand a bit more what happened and why.
When I was first contacted about reading this book I was very nervous because I had never done a review of a book on my blog before. I didn't know what the Book was about and once it arrived I was extra nervous just by reading the Title "Good Says No" since I Have my own Idea's on religion and my sexuality but was raised Catholic. Anytime i see Religion and sexuality together in a story i am always afraid of what might come up such as... Treatments to turn a person back to Straight (Or to God as some would say). I Composed myself after a couple of days and then got right into reading. Written By James Hannaham, its the story of a young black southern male named Gary (Or Gary gary) and his struggle to come out of the closet to himself, friends and family, and most important to him God, set in the 1980's. Hannaham has a way of describing the scene so that you feel like your there and participating in the what's going on! You really understand each and every single character and what there feeling right down to the people in the Choir. There's lots of laughter, tears and hope within the pages of this book. I don't want to ruin anything but If i were you I would go pick up this book today! As a young gay black male Its great to read this struggle and feel like I'm not the only one who has had not just struggle's with family but with religion, and read about a positive outcome. I just want to also thank Workhouse Publicity for giving me the chance to read such an uplifting book!
I was just sitting down with some Linguini ala vodka around nine (Late, I know) And a glass of apple juice tweeting about the Charm School Finally having a great time when something very annoying happened. A twitter Fight Broke out between Chris Crocker and Shane Dawson (and yes I said a Twitter fight) which was lasted for hours. Youtube, and UStream Video's were made in response to each other's insults. Alot of people Joined in the fight even picking side's defending either of the two as causing fights between fans. Later on the fight was resolved and Shane Dawson blogged about what happened briefly not naming any names apologizing to his fan's but it left a lasting stain for fan's on both sides. Now I really don't care about there fight to be honest but what i find amazing is how divid there fans are now and how this has spread. Another reason why people should communicate in person or on the phone instead of assuming something and making it public on a status update or tweet because once it becomes public knowledge there's no telling who will join in. I hope that the two of them can resolve there issues rather then posting it on line like a hurricane if that ever happen again!

So... Ok here is what I think about the B.E.T. Awards show that just passed... WTF? I Love Michael Jackson besides all the craziness but that show was a little bit to much... or maybe not enough. Why couldn't BET Get star's together for a real Tribute show instead of having Jay-Z (Who I love by the way which is why it bothers me more) Get on stage and start Beef with anyone who uses a voice synthesizer even mentioning T-pain? I don't know if anyone caught it but just listen to the lyrics to the rap he performs and you'll understand what I'm talking about. And Did anyone notice that Letoya Luckett (one of the original Destiny's Child members) was presenting an award? Why you ask? She has an album out and has had one for a long time. She would have been performing during the show but rumor has it that someone in Beyonce's company, either her mom or her self, said that If Letoya Luckett Sung during the show that she would not perform! Lucky for us she got to perform during the Pre-show. Its not suppose to be this petty when your honoring the life of an Icon people! And What was with the Mic's for the performers? They could have had better sound quality for the poor people getting up on stage and singing there heart out! And Don't let me get started on Little Wayne. B.E.T. Really needs to step up there game and Blow The M.T.V Awards show out of the water for once!!!
Paris Decides that her best friends need to go to prison because I'm sure that most of her friends have... Anyway The BFF's spend sometime in the slammer Doing various Task All Dressed a a really cute pink (Thats One Point for Paris!) Pink is a real calming color and helps so there is no cat fighting! For the first time Paris got some alone time with the adorable Stephen and he tells her what he thinks of the girls as well as share some of his personal trials and tribulations. In the end Paris sent home Crazy Kaitlin and Nicole which we all new was coming but... What was up with 3-6 Mafia doing the interrogations? Are they really friends with Paris? I wonder If this is how Onch would like to wake up every morning? And why isn't he her new BFF? What ever! Can't wait to see what's gonna happen next!

Looks like Some one is making a Guest appearance on "Daisy of love" Next episode and I wonder which Guy she actually knows? It would be funny if it was Twelve pack since he has been all over Reality Television (And I'm sure Miss Natasha is soon to follow... not that there is anything wrong with that!) but i suspect something a little more sinister lol I'm sure we'll find out in a show that I started off not really all that into. As with most reality show's, this one caught me off guard and I love it. I'm also Glad that Natasha Didn't fade into the limelight cause she was one of my fav's to watch on Paris Hilton's "My New Best Friend" season 1. It will be a pleasure to see her stir things up a bit which I'm sure she's gonna do.

Speaking of Circus acts... "New York Goes To Work" is over folks!!! Sad that Pumkin didn't show for the Final Fight but I wonder if that means we'll be seeing the last of her? Anyway To my surprise it seems as if VH1 wants to give New York a Third season of "I Love New York", Which could be the only reason that its one of the choice's at the end of the episode. Also commercials for Megan Hauserman's new show "Trophy Wife" have started to air and I honestly can't wait to see this show but only because I hope that Brandi will act as her Best friend in counsel to the boys. So Excited Cause The New Steamy season of Gimme Sugar Miami Started and So has all the drama! Lucky for Us, Davonee has also Charlene on her trip to Miami. I hope that this season Keeps me as interested as last season did. So far... I'm sure it will! This week on Paris Hiltons My new BFF, A weird elimination maneuver left people barking up a storm... or laughing really hard! In last weeks episode Paris Introduced two new contestants to the game, Chris and David but was not tickled by either of them. I think the only male best friends Paris can have are Gay... No offense Heterosexual males but I don't think you'd be able to keep up with here like the Gay males can... especially when it comes to shopping together! But I digress... So all the potential Bff's were asked something about there past but Paris and company weren't Impressed at Davids Beat boxing and Chris's not answering a simple question like who he thinks the hottest girl in the house is. Both new contestants were called down to the red carpet that night for discussion along with Crazy Kaitlin. Then one of the weirdest elimination method Processes to date takes place as Paris Use's her Dog Tinker bell to choose who should go home that night. Funny enough The Dog Growls at Chris and nearly bites him! And she sends him home. I have heard people say "She must have grabbed the dogs tail or something" What do you think?

The star's were out and about at the Clearview Theater on 14th street in the New York, New York. The Door's opened at around six and the star's poured in toward the open bar.
There was also Free Popcorn Thanks to the Clearview. The unfortunate part of the night was that there wasn't enough seating for everyone... but that was ok cause they made sure to keep everyone in the loop with a hugh projector near the bar in the lobby. Funny thing is that most of the time award winner's, nominee's, and presenters just came and hung out in the lobby.

To My surprise I Ran Across This little tidbit of info which has left me very hopeful for a renewed interest in the Oxygen Network again. The Show "Bad Girls club" Which I love is looking for A New Set of bad Girls! If you are interested in becoming a cast member you can get all the info here! I wonder what this new cast will be like?
I Also realized that Bad Girls club use to come on after "The Hills" And just gave me the right amount of crazy to excite me. I hope that this new season will start around the same time as the New Season of "The Hills"!
Sometimes My Partner find's these Great Blog postings about events that we would both love to go and see together. Thanks to Kotaku's info on a Show called Adventure quest which was also part of the Brick Theater Anti Depressant festival, we got our stuff together and headed out for the shows First play on stage yesterday. I really didn't know what to expect because i was told... Nicely (lol) Not to read the blog in fear that it would ruin the story. The Theater was small and housed maybe fifty to sixty people. I won't go into the play itself because hopefully others will see it before it leave's the theater, or it will reopen and one day others will get to see it to but i will say this much... The Play Written by Richard Lovejoy and Directed by Adam Swiderski, is suppose to be a video game adventure quest except live action and you get to watch the hero embark on his journey. Sound's simple right... Its more scandalous and funny then that because most of the time the hero is fighting with the game narrator Alley Scoot, who also acts as the person who tells him "no... you can not open the door" or "no... you can not piss on guard!" The Actor's and Actresses were amazingly talented and most played multiple characters in a cast of nine including Sarah Malinda Engelke as The Peasant Girl and Kent Meister as The Hero who I had the Pleasure of Posing for a Quick Picture in between shows. Even though it seemed like they used a lot of props to pull off certain parts of the quest, they were very minimal. Everything was very intricate and they must have practiced for hour's to pull off just the Dialogue in it self. Had I not gone to this show I would never have known about that theater because I'm always in the city. You can be sure that I will be showing up at future Events at the brick house especially if The Anti Depressant Festival has anything to do with it! Seen on set as well as made Video Cameo appearances were some well known Queer Musician such as Keo Nazari, T-Boy, Ari Gold, Colton Ford, Corey Tut, and Cazwell. With This much Talent you Can't Go wrong! I Don't want to give To much away but i will say this much... but Peppermint was the constant life of the shoot. She kept everyone in an electric Mode all day, everyone fully charged! Can't wait for the Video Release! Its going to be great! Here is just a taste with some official picture's taken at the shoot!
This week Brittaney Was sent Packing in Ricki Lakes "Charm school". Now I'm not gonna recap on the episode cause VH1 Has been Doing a great Job with there own recaps. I will how ever share my feeling's. This episode was a great one but VH1 really doesn't give Bubbles the credit she deserves. I Mean... Yeah she wanted the kids to do an Air Swim but its cause she wanted them to have fun while excercising. Yes... she is still kind of a Air head but thats not always a bad thing, as well as the fact that her heart is in the right place.
I Feel bad for Marcia because she never gets cut any slack! She really does want to stop drinking but I don't think Having Alcohol around the house in the first place is going to help her.
I'm Glad that Brittaney got sent home only because it seemed like she was getting fed up with having to deal with the other girls. HOWEVER... I really wish that Ashley went home! She Is really mean and doesn't seem like she wants to change at all! She got lucky this week but lets see what happens next week... Ricki... Don't Let me DOWN!
At this year's E3 convention Monty oum who is known for his Video creations such as Haloid, And Dead Fantasy One and Two showcased previews for the follow up video's to Dead Fantasy. So far there are some preview video's circulating around Youtube that don't show much but enough to make mouths salivate! Can't wait to see how it all ends. If you have never seen any of his Video's I would strongly advise you to check them out but be warned That most of his video's Pertain to a specific video game or game's and are mainly for the fan's of those games so you might not understand what's going on if you haven't played them. Yet, they are still visually stunning and delightful to the Eye's!
Wow... Did anybody Catch "The hills" update? Apparently Kristin Cavallari, Former Frinemy of Lauren Conrad while on Laguna Beach is Not only Joining the cast, but becoming the star! I never saw much of Laguna Beach but from what I can tell about every one's reactions she's gonna bring the drama for sure!
As Far as the Wedding Everything that happened was expected but No one though there was going to be another season! Also the Cast seems to have gotten larger with the ever so famous Staci, And Jade Apperently Joining the cast as permanent fixtures! I have to admit... I'm intrigued but also saddened. LAUREN CONRAD WILL BE MISSED... even though she was kind of a bore in the last season. I Hope that she doesn't fade away for ever and who knows... There might be an appearance in Whittney Ports Show "The City" That is If thats coming back at all.
This week Ricki Lake gave Kiki that boot on This season of Charm school and it sparked an ongoing war between... Not the "Rock of love" Girls and The "Real Chance at love" girls but a black verses white conflict! Because of Kiki's abrasive mouth as well as a strong majority of the girls (From both shows) Complaining about Kiki, Ricki sent her home. The other girls were not happy about it because both Marcia and Ashley were definitely better candidates to go home seeing as how one is just a mean aggressive... Mean girl, and the other is an alcoholic which if I'm not mistaken Charm school isn't equipped to handle... But I Love Ricki... so I'll Give her Kiki cause Kiki was kinda a trouble maker. At least the other two's issues can't really affect anyone else if there left alone. But The other Girl's weren't happy about it and it left So Hood feeling a bit Betrayed so... She left! And Farrah was tired of the Girl's Fighting so she also packed her bags! Ricki has an emergency meeting to ask the girls what they think and Risky is all to happy to open up saying she though that the other girls got a pass on the red carpet because they were white! Ricki seemed shocked and Appalled!
Now here are my thoughts.... I see the most of the girls from "Rock of love" Getting the boot real soon because if I know Ricki she give's second chances but she also knows when enough is enough.
Atlus gaming company has always held its own with Great games such as Disgaea series, The Shin Megami Tensei's series of games (Especially my favorite's Persona rev and Digital devil saga 1 and 2) and a plethora of other game's that have held a spot in mine's and others hearts through out the years but like most of there game's, it takes a while before one realizes just how involved they have become with the game they are playing at the time. Enter Etrain odyssey 1 and 2!
I Got the first when it came out and was still playing it when the second released. I didn't think i was gonna buy the second one because i was afraid of repetition and still wasn't done with the first game due to game extras and unlock-able quest after beating it. After reading reviews all the reviews I saved some cash and picked up my very own copy of the second one. I Now find myself still going back and forth between the two games and loving it. Each game has its own crazy RPG dynamic but they each offer two very different ways of playing that have kept me glued to my DSi as soon as I start to play. Some of the greatest games took years after there release for them to get any kind of recognition at all and I hope that people will look back at these two games as two of the greatest RPG game's of all time not because of the story but the mechanics! Here's to hoping that Atlus will do a third and introduce more into the way this series is played!
Last weeks New York Goes to work was Funny but almost faked. I know that Miss New york herself is a drama queen but this week was a little different. She seemed more actress then drama queen and as much as I would love to trust her reactions as true one's, I find myself questioning them... is it just me?
I Had hoped that this week new york would have gotten a better gig such as dairy Farmer... But no she got the obvious choice... Exotic animal trainer! I saw some spoilers for the next episode and To be honest I don't know what to think. I love the concept of this show but if they keep this up with the two mild job choices and the one extreme choice that they have been giving the viewers it might not be as exciting as it I though it would be. VH1 definitely knows how to surprise so this week... I'll give it to them for effort but this upcoming monday after the show is done there better be some crazy choice's That they give the Viewers for New York's Next job! VH1 don't let us down!
So Image's have been leaked for the new PSP and even though its so small it can fit into the palm of your hands, there is no Umd slot but more memory for downloadable content (16 GB's) and Bluetooth tec, on top of the new design with a slidable control pad that slides back up into the psp for movie's (Just a guess (*_-) ) I'm not all that impressed...
I Think that Anyone who has followed sony since Tomb Raider days can agree that every time they a game or system came out Sony fanboys were salivating at the mouths but these past couple of years haven't been so kind the the unimaginative minds of the sony developers... (Was that mean?) I hope that E3 can prove me and the masses of unimpressed fanboys wrong!
OMG I Am so excited about this because The Cast Is amazing and the director... Its like people from all the best Sci-Fi show's ever have come together and the Science fiction universe Might Just explode to moment it airs! Not only is it being Written by the 4400 Co-Creator/Exec Producer Scott Peter's (Which by the way was an amazing series that I wish had a new season), But Staring in the show is Joel Gretsch who played Tom Baldwin in the 4400, Elizabeth Mitchell who plays Juliet on lost, Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk known for there role's on Firefly and many more will be filling the ranks of an already highly anticipated show. I can't wait!
Monday Night around Nine o'clock I had the Pleasure of watching some amazing performances by good friend and amazing musician Dan Crowley, Lady Bright and LadyStein at the Ace of Club's In New York City!
I had to leave early cause I had prior engagements so i didn't get to see Lady Brights full performance but from what i saw they were good. I Have seen Dan Perform before but this time was different due to him playing an all new song that was super edgy, Political aggressive and smoking hot! Truly outside the box for him and all his listeners.
After he performed I didn't know what to expect from the other bands but I was EAR SHOCKED by the wonderful Ladystein! There Corky, urban, soulful, emotional yet funny lyric's and tune's were just an add on the the harmony that this talented multi-instrumented band has on stage. This Weeks Youtuber of the week is the Infamous Rock Cookie Bottom. I first heard about him from my boyfriend. Me and him would get together and watch BattleStar Galactica every weekend Cause it was an amazing series! He came across this awesome video and i have been a fan of his since. This guy releases a music video a day via youtube! And his song's actually sound really awesome to boot! I Caved and brought a DSi as a gift to myself for my birthday. I had been thinking about buying one ever since I went to the Nintendo store at Rockafella center to check it out but wasn't completely sold on it till i found out that you could download music on it as well as all the other wifi functions which just seemed like a great deal. Then i found out that the price before tax was around 170 US dollar's, a lot of money to be spending right now. I Decided to wait since i already had a DS and the price would be going down in a couple of months.
Then I heard about the GameStop special DSi for Ds trade in. If you already have a DS You can go to GameStop with it and the power plug and trade it in for a new DSi and get about 70 bucks off! That was all i needed! I got the blue colored one and already have been playing and downloading game's onto the system from the download store. I wish that The people at Gamestop knew about the whole System info switch cause then i wouldn't have to start games that require your Ds system info like ... Pokemon ranch on the Wii over again. And yes I play Pokemon ranch.... Don't Judge!!! I'll keep you guys posted if anything interesting should happen while i play my DSi.
Every now and again I HEAR a song and It doesn't catch me right off the back but then I get that itch and have to her it again... and again.. and again! La Roux's song "Bulletproof" is one of those songs! Her funky Retro style and hip beats have really kept me coming back for more. Please check out this great Video!
Remember this Picture of New York in her second season of I love New York were she was Dressed for the Fortune teller. Maybe she would have rather be doing this instead of what she had to do this week which was be a Pig Farmer!
Her task included Bathing a Pig, Gathering chicken egg's and (GLUP...) Roasting a pig! But its more deceiving then that because the Farmer had asked her which baby pig she thought was the cute when she got there. Then made her Cut into the same pig after it was Roasted!!! OMG Poor New York! Next week should be interesting cause of the possible jobs she will end up doing which are Working at a Nudist resort, Working as a Cafeteria worker, or in production's! I'm hoping that she end's up at the Nudist Resort!
I didn't think this season could get any worse as far as the Stephanie Pratt Madness but Lauren still has yet to grow that back bone and do what need's to be done to save face... FIRE HER!
On a Photo shot Stephanie forgot to prepare some Items that were on a list Lauren left her the day before. Instead of running back to work she decides that her date with this Robert guy is more important. Kelly Is not happy and Tells Lauren to fire Stephanie herself! WOW
And Look who's back! Its Staci and she has a couple of things to say to Heidi to make some kind of peace But as we all know Heidi doesn't want to make friend's with the "homewrecker" and tells her to back off! Wonder If we'll be seeing her again? Why is it that Heidi and the Pratts always seem to be in the background off some kinda Drama? Speaking of Drama... The Whole Justin Bobby Audrina Fight was Kinda Comical and did they even pay for the Bill before they stormed out of that restaurant fighting in the middle of the street? I'm not surprised that Stephanie was the person Audrina went to talk to about it since she was the one who suggested she sleep with Brody in the first place. Can't Wait till Lauren Fire's her!
Stephanie, Don't get me wrong I Love Ya! But... If everyone knows you work under Kelly and the rest of the world of Fashion accepts you with open arm's as long as you do good, Why then would you ruin your chance over... Robert?
